Day 2: Riyadh Historical Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your full-day tour exploring the cultural and historical highlights of Riyadh.
Start with a visit to the National Museum of Saudi Arabia, located in the King Abdulaziz Historical Center. This museum offers a deep dive into Saudi Arabia’s history — from prehistoric times to the unification of the Kingdom. Exhibits include manuscripts, artifacts, and rare antiques arranged across eight main halls, including:
- Hall of Man and the Universe
- Arab Kingdoms
- Pre-Islamic Era
- Prophet’s Mission
- The First Saudi State
- Unification of the Kingdom
- Hall of Hajj and Two Holy Mosques
Next, enjoy a walk through the surrounding National Museum Park and King Abdulaziz Historical Park — green spaces with traditional architecture and family-friendly walking paths.
Continue to the King Abdulaziz Car Museum to view a collection of vintage cars once used by the founding King.
Proceed to Al Murabba Palace, one of the most important historic residences built by King Abdulaziz in traditional Najdi architectural style using local materials. It’s a perfect place to take memorable photos.
Optional Lunch: Enjoy an authentic Saudi meal at Najd Village, a traditional restaurant reflecting the heritage and lifestyle of the past. It’s well-known for its cozy atmosphere and delicious dishes.
After lunch, explore Souk Al-Zal, one of the oldest traditional markets in Riyadh. It’s famous for carpets, antiques, incense, and souvenirs. Located near the historic Masmak Fortress, this market dates back to 1901.
Visit Al Masmak Fortress, where King Abdulaziz recaptured Riyadh in 1902. The museum inside features photos, maps, artifacts, and a re-enactment of the historic event. You can still see the spear embedded in the wooden gate.
Conclude your day with a visit to Kingdom Tower (also known as Al Mamlaka Tower), the most iconic skyscraper in Riyadh. The tower includes a high-end shopping mall, restaurants, and the Sky Bridge (entry ticket not included) with panoramic views of the city.
Make a brief photo stop at the Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Mosque, one of Riyadh’s largest and most architecturally significant mosques.
Optional Tours:
- Morning Red Sand Dunes Tour (starts at 5:00 AM, approx. 4 hours)
- Evening Food Tour of Riyadh (starts at 4:00 PM)
Overnight in Riyadh.

Enjoy a refreshing cup of fresh camel milk, meet friendly locals, and spend time with adorable baby goats, a favorite for both kids and adults. This experience blends excitement, nature, and culture — perfect for travelers looking to see a unique side of Saudi Arabia.
Overnight in Jeddah.
Day 2: Jeddah Historical Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your full-day tour exploring the cultural and historical highlights of Jeddah.
Begin your journey in Al-Balad, Jeddah’s historic downtown — also known as the “Old Town.” This UNESCO-listed district is home to ancient merchant houses, narrow alleys, traditional souks, and vibrant street life. Once the heart of Jeddah’s early community, Al-Balad tells the story of families, traders, and travelers who shaped the city’s cultural legacy.
As you explore the Old Town on foot, you’ll feel transported to another era. Walk through atmospheric streets, pass by centuries-old coral stone buildings, and uncover hidden corners and secret doorways that only locals know. Your guide will share fascinating stories that bring this historic neighborhood to life.
Your walking tour includes highlights such as:
- Beit Nassif – one of the most iconic restored houses of the Old Town
- Makkah Gate and North Gate – perfect photo stops
- Traditional homes showcasing the mix of Hijazi architecture and modern restoration
- Hidden galleries, old markets, and authentic local food shops where tourists rarely go
Next, visit Al Shafi Mosque, the oldest mosque in Jeddah, still standing as a sacred site surrounded by history and community life.
Optional: We highly recommend a traditional Saudi lunch at Al Romansiah Restaurant, known for its heritage-style interiors and flavorful dishes that reflect the spirit of Saudi Arabia’s past.
Continue your cultural journey at the Al Tayebat International City Museum, an impressive four-floor complex that showcases Saudi Arabia’s history, culture, art, and architecture. The museum features beautifully preserved manuscripts, Islamic art, ancient coins, traditional attire, weaponry, and detailed replicas of homes from various regions across the Kingdom.
Then visit the iconic Floating Mosque, beautifully set along the Red Sea and known for its serene atmosphere and stunning architecture, especially during high tide when it appears to float on water.
End your day with a scenic drive along the New Jeddah Corniche, a 30-kilometer waterfront promenade along the Red Sea. Enjoy ocean views, public art, and relaxing green spaces — perfect for capturing the modern beauty of Jeddah.
